# Planning Meeting #28 - Date: 2025-05-02 - Facilitator: Marynia - Notary: Gwen - Present: Marynia, Gwen, Pju, Larissa, Tilmann ## Check-in round ## Did it happen... - Try out different things to give more space for emotional topics [Astrid, Liou, Gwen] - did not happen - [Marynia] i am doing this activly - [Gwen] it was more about meetings and dinner ### Not done & from earlier PlaMes _if it wasn't done for 3 times it will be considered obsolete_ - further the discussion on being public vs private with kanthaus data [Timber] - Did not happen - Did not happen, unsure of how to continue - [Marynia] maybe the same as Martins point - continue communication with Kanta and invite her to another chat with a bigger group about (potential) concerns [Liou] - Continued communication happened but not a bigger group chat - [Larissa] What are Kantas plans and where will she put her stuff? - [Pju] What are Kantas plans of changes like the clock or the compost - [Marynia] Yesterday Kanta talkt about this and noticed that it is mayby not that nice to change things while she lives not here - [Marynia] is there still the need for a bigger talk? - [Gwen] i think it is not for Kanthaus and i as a host would ask Kanta about the qestions and if she needs one - [Marynia] we can offer a regular Evaluarion - [GWen]Nice idea i will offer - make a communal phone with whatsapp account [Riell] - Not usable yet, Astrid supports with SIM card - We don't know if more happened - write window exchange skillshare invitation [tilmann] - started today, feedback needed - a bit happend ## Discussion  * [tilmann] window exchange skillshare invitation * [Tilman] Idea to invite people to learn about window eychange. It would be interesting especially for people in houseprojekts. But first we have to figure out how to do it our selfs. This will happen the next two weeks. Than we have a in house skillshare. After that we spread the knowledge to some. And than we make a Skillshare time where we do all winows at once. But we need people who take ofer responsiblitys. at the moment Tillman is responsible for the whole exchange. And now the question is who to invite. * [Marynia] during the learning procress du you already exchange widows? * [Tilman] yes we have a lot * [Marynia]Wonder if we have time and energie for a bigger Skillshare thing * [Larissa] We could invite projects to find out who is even interested * [Tilman] I wanted to write in Projekt Verteiler but we dont have excess * [Larissa] Maybe Kito hase acess * [Tilman] I would need help to figure out to whom we sendt the invitaion because i am bad at networking * [Marynia] Make sence to finde someone that can help with this * [Janina] Awareness point: Now that it's warm leftovers may go bad in just one night - like it happened today * [Larissa] Maybe we can put in the bacement or fridge but we have to put stones on it because of the rats * [Pju] How did you do it last summer * [Larissa] Fridge or basement * [Tilman] And put a sign on the table. And try to cook not to much * [Pju] I sometimes cook to less and people where complaining and that is shit to don´t have not enogh food. Maybe we can do that people who cook have the responibility of taking care that it is not going bad. And we have to talk about the coffe beens to have more space in the freezer * [Larissa] If you see stuff on the tabel that can go bad feel responsible. Make it a comunal responsibility * [Tilman] It is hard to get into the habbit of cook frozen food. BEcause sometimes it is just a small poriton and it is hidden from the people. * [Larissa] HOw do we want to use our freezer space? Refere to the coffe beans. * [Tilman] I wanted to take of one freezer in summer because we had have only one why do we have three now. And they are the whole time full and people don´t eat it. * [Larissa] Now we have the bread there and Karrots and Beans. * [Pju] Everybody should have a look what they put in the freezer and if it is necessary. * [Marynia] People who cook be aware of checking the freezer and prefer stuff out of that. * [Larissa] Store things in bags not buckets because they take extra folume * [Marynia] Also the coffebeans are in Boxes * [Larissa] The boxes are bought and can do vaccuum. * [Pju] Where ar the freezer bags? * [Larissa] In the Kitchen upper cup board. And label the stuff in the freezer. * [Martin] Proposal: purge Kanthaus main channel in MM. We make a post asking for reaction. We give two weeks, whoever doesn't answer gets eliminated. They can of course join back in. Maybe do other channels as well? The channel has 85% inactive users. * [tilmann] concerns about spending time on busywork that tries to push people around. I have been there myself, it's only superficially satisfying and rarely helpful to the actual cause. I suggest a deeper reflection on what you want to achieve with this. * [Martin] Who's time? Mine? Just let me know yes or no. * [Marynia] It also comes with privacy discussion. We have to rais awareness because i didn´t know that they are private. And i don´t feel comfortable with everyone can read all the massages. * [Tilmann] My feeling is that Martin wants more outcome out of this that might actually come from it, I don't want him to be frustrated because I have been in the past * [Marynia] if we want's to he should go ahead * [Marynia] lets make more channels private, e.g. inhouse. it feels weird that random people from the outside can read messages. let's also take off the invite link from the website and remove people from the inhouse-channel that aren't actually here. * no resistance * [Marynia] Announcement: My 30th birthday party on the 31st May! Multiple people coming from abroad and some staying for multiple days, so just an awareness point around sleeping spaces. Also I'm still undertaking the project of making KH more aesthetic and I've set myself a deadline to get the big parts of the dining room, garden and piano room done by this date. Please join me if you're motivated! * Riell also invited some people * [Gwen] please put people that are coming in the calender so that we know app. how many people are coming * [Marynia] I will also do more design work until then in the dining room, piano room and the garden. People are invited to join and help. * [Pju] Could there be a room where no outside visitors are hanging out in? I need a space to retreat * [Maryina] it's not like other times and usually everyone is allowed to be everywhere * [Larissa] we can just reserve a private for residents so that not every private is occupied by visitors but other common rooms are hard to privatize * [Pju] Visitors sometimes don't have that much awareness about when to give people privacy in public rooms as long-term residents and I sometimes struggle with this * [Marynia] I can let my friends know * [larissa] Maybe it's a more genral awarness point for hosts to communicate this to visitors * [Marynia] Mowing the lawn? But the insects! * [Larissa + janina] the grass is just much nicer when it's cut every once in a while because it stays softer, also we have enough wild corners in the garden for the insects * [Tilmann] also the diversity of species is much higher if not just one kind of grass takes over * [Marynia] Let's compromis and not cut it to often and leave some patches with flowers * yeah! * [Marynia] Insomniac's signal group? for people that are awake during the night and want to reach out for company in the middle of the night * let's make a mattermost channel * [Larissa] kanthaus birthday party on 12th of july.
